NHA collaborates with the Norwalk Public Schools and NHA learning center students are now able to continue in the afterschool program where they left off in school that day.

Go Math! is a fun and motivating digital math program for students in grades K-5. Big Ideas is a similar program for grades 6-12. These game-oriented, online program reinforces classroom instruction and provide extra practice in essential math concepts, skills, and problem-solving strategies.

These programs:

  • Offer an engaging and interactive approach to covering new state standards.
  • Ensure that students can access content at appropriate levels of depth and rigor with the programs’ seamless digital path and Write-in Student Edition
  • Combine 21st-century educational technology with modern content, dynamic interactivities, and a variety of instructional videos to engage today’s digital natives.
  • Allow our math instructors to serve as tutors when further help is needed

Every student is supported through the universal access features of the program as they learn to think critically, apply their math knowledge and have all the resources they need to succeed. Students work sequentially through a series of modules that follow a structured learning path and represent a year’s worth of math instruction. Each module is composed of a series of activities, followed by a problem-solving activity.
